Cape God was founded in 2025 with the purpose of bringing a timeless piece of clothing to the modern wardrobe and making it an easy, elegant and uncomplicated choice for evening.

Our founder Jessica has always loved to incorporate art deco details, drapery, silks, tassels and quality fabrics into her wardrobe; collecting designer and antique pieces from markets in Paris, vintage stores and flea markets in Berlin, New York and London, and bidding for unique items at auctions, across the world.

However, it was a visit to Marrakech, where a chance meeting with a gracious and welcoming hotelier (and friend to Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berg) inspired her to embark on our journey with capes as a single founding category for the brand.

The concept for our limited edition capes, originated from discovering unique, fine jewellery pieces in Tuscany, Italy.

At Cape God make pieces for the quietly confident woman who doesn't require an explanation - elevating ordinary dressing into an extraordinary statement.
