Returns & Exchanges Policy — Cape God LLC

We hope you love your Cape God piece. If something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to help — please read the details below so we can make the process as smooth as possible.
Returns Window
We accept returns or exchanges if you contact us within 14 days of delivery.
To start a return, please email us at
returns@cape-god.com
with your order number and a brief note about your request.
Return Eligibility
To ensure every customer receives items in perfect condition, we ask that returned items meet the following criteria:

Original tags are still attached
-
Item is unworn, unwashed, and unused

Item shows no signs of wear or damage

Care instructions have been followed
-
Item is returned in its original Cape God packaging, in good condition
If a return is requested outside the 14-day window, we’re unfortunately unable to accept it.
Items We’re Unable to Accept for Return
While we understand that plans can change, the following items aren’t eligible for return or exchange:

Items with tags removed

Items that show signs of wear, damage, or improper care

Items returned without original packaging, or with damaged packaging

Requests made after the 14-day return period

Bespoke or made-to-order items, including custom colours, custom sizing, or rush orders
(If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us right away so we can make it right.)
Return Review
All returns are carefully checked once they arrive with us.
If an item doesn’t meet the conditions above, we may need to send it back to you or, in some cases, responsibly dispose of it.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and approved:

Refunds are issued to the original payment method

Original shipping costs are non-refundable
-
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed
We aim to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days of receiving your return.
Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund on your account — these processing times are outside our control, but we’ll always keep you informed.
Exchanges
If you’d prefer an exchange, just let us know in your email.
All exchanges are subject to availability and follow the same eligibility guidelines as returns.
For Our EU Customers
If you’re based in the EU or EEA, you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of delivery for standard items.
This does not apply to bespoke or made-to-order pieces, or items that have been worn or used beyond what’s necessary to try them on.
